Year 75 of Solitude (and counting)

‘In the end it is impossible not to become what others think you are’ From The Ides of March att Julius Caesar; in Memories of my Melancholy Whores, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. At 75 I find that I can bear witness to this truth: but, honestly compels me to wonder if my journey has been heavily honed by transference/countertransference phenomena in my erstwhile consulting room. Can someone out there persuade me that it was all worth the effort? A reply from Señor Márquez would be great, but I’m prepared to settle for comforting another funny, grumpy old man.

HEY! Don't expect that the original author of the ad is going to see your comment! We just find them and collect them... we may be weird, but we're not as weird as the folks who actually wrote these ads.
